英文履歴書&カバーレター
2008年の渡豪に向けて今、一番の心配事である仕事を探す為に準備をしている毎日。
夫と一緒に週1~2回のペースで通っている英会話スクールで英文履歴書とカバーレターの作成方法について勉強したりしているところ。
英文履歴書とは
・ 働いた全ての会社名等を書かなくても良い。
・ 履歴書作成日を記入する必要は無い。
・ 役職は無ければ自分で作り上げるべき。
・ 現在に近いものから順に記入する。
・ 履歴書の左右スペースは同じにするべき。
・ 文字はTimees New Romanかそれに順ずる物、フォントは10.5~12
・ 学歴は大学以上でOK
・ Skillsの欄には仕事に関係するトレーニングも記入。
・ 家の電話番号があれば記入すべき。
・ Referenceは履歴書には記入せず、「Reference is available upon request」とし、
別シートで面接時等に渡す。
・ Referenceは最低でも3人、仕事関係者、友人、等々誰でもOK。 家族は抜かす。
・ Pay & Benefit等は面接時に話す。
・ Spell Checkは必ず
・ 営業等で達成金額や成長率等は記入するべき。
・ 取引先企業名は大企業であれば入れると良い。
Cover Letterは
・ 日付を入れてもOK
・ 簡単な自己紹介、自分がどのようなバックグラウンドがあり、なぜ自分を雇うべきか
・ 面接をして欲しい旨を記入。
・ Dear Sirではなく、個人名のほうが好ましい。
私のResumeとCoverletterの内容を以下に記載しました。
まだ先生から完璧OKをもらえていない状態ですので直されたら随時UPGradeしていきます。(いつになったら完璧になるやら…??)
